.223 (.224) 5.56 64 Grain M856 FMJ Non-Boat-Tail, Non-Tracing NEW STEEL Penetrator Bullets - 1,000 Projectiles
FREE USPS SHIPPING!
These bullets are factory NEW, unfired M856 "tracer" (construction), NO tracing compound in the base of the projectile and NO orange painted tip. The construction of the M856 projectile is a thin copper jacket with a Cannelure over a lead core WITH a Steel Penetrator (no this is not "steel core"). Brand new production, Never loaded bullets. Not a "Boat Tail" base.
These are non-tracing M856 projectiles. The M856 is a steel penetrator like the M855 projectile but is a 64 grain, longer bullet that was designed to also have the tracer compound in the base. These are brand new, never loaded and also not "pulled" like some older M855 bullets we've had in years past. Even though they are the 64 grain M856, they're do not have painted tips (they're brand new production, never loaded, never painted). These also do not have the tracer compound in the base of the projectile. Instead they have an open copper plated base that has a semi-rounded base (no, not a boat tail and not quite a "flat base" either). The base is more rolled over. SEE PICS. These are basically just longer M855 penetrator bullets (they do cling to a magnet like you would expect) that will make better use of your 1:7 barrel twist. They of course have the cannelure as well.
These are Factory Brand NEW, NOT pulled so they're very clean. NOTE: Even though these are advertised as "non-tracing" do use caution when shooting in dry environments or where fires may occur as a possible result when shooting these rounds.
