40 S&W 180 Grain JHP SAA HST-Load - 50 Rounds, NEW-

This review is not a put down nor a negative review against Surplus Ammo as they quickly delivered my order much faster than I had originally anticipated.
As per the above review title the cases were discolored and several rounds were bent in a bit. I suspect these might be factory seconds or rounds that did not pass the cosmetic quality control checks. No issues with the bullets themselves being deformed or malformed.
The crimping appears to be solid.
What I did to rectify the discoloration issue was to place each box of 50 rounds into my Lyman 600 tumbler with the Lyman branded standard corn cob media.
They are all shiny now after several hours of being in the machine. All in all a good product but do not expect perfection in these crazy times.

IMHO, This is the best caliber, ammo there is for Law Enforcement use.

Shot a box of 50 thru a Springfield XD with no problems.

Cycles smooth in my picky pistol. consistent feeding, ejecting, firing. Will buy more when available.

Good quality ammo, good pricing. Will buy again.

So far so good, cycles smooth, hits hard, and is AVAILABLE! What else is there to say.

I shot the ammunition through my Glock 23 .40 caliber. No rounds jammed and had very tight grouping at the local firing range.
I will buy more for my other .40 caliber firearms..Its the first time I've bought this ammunition and looking forward to try other calibers when available..

I haven't used these yet. Surplus Ammo had a good price, real good shipping rates. They had real quick shipping, and the package was shipped real nice & sealed well!
