NOTE:  Our personal favorite for a defensive 5.56 round for the money.  Jacketed Hollow Point, a much more effective projectile than most any FMJ/ball projectile & at 5.56 pressure.  Good jacketed hollow points will have better effects on target even at lower velocities (think popular shorter barrels) than the wounding characteristics of FMJ/Ball rounds like M193 or even worse, M855.  Also designed w/ a secure cannelure for more reliable auto-loading actions (AR15's etc.) and sealed primers, Federal's best defensive round for the $.
