Designed to provide optimum ammunition feeding for any M16/M4/AR15-type weapon, the Heckler & Koch 30-Round Steel Magazine can be used in any firearm that uses a NATO-standard 5.56 mm magazine. Originally developed by HK for the British L85 (SA80) and L86 weapons, the curved 30-round magazine has been combat-proven by U.S. special operations forces and foreign military units. The 20-Round Steel Magazine features a well-executed design; select materials, special anti-friction maritime surface finish, advanced spring material, attention to production tolerance, and steel magazine housing and follower.

NOTE: These are arguably the best AR-15/M16/M4 mags every created.  Expensive, yeah, a bit heavier than either polymer or the old original aluminum, but they'll always work and they run like good old surplus AK mags run...like you could do pushups on these mags, in the rifle.  So, keep a loaded mag in your go-to AR at home, office or truck?  My in-weapon mags in my AR's are these Hk mags.  I keep a 30rd in my carbines and a 20rd in my AR 5.56 pistols and I don't worry about them.  Can't afford to stock the entire mag-bag with Hk mags, but that's because I'd rather buy more ammo to shoot and old GI mags like D&H's do the job as back-up or range mags as good as they always have.
