Magpul BAD Lever- Extended Tactical Bolt Catch AR-15
The MagPul BAD (Battery Assist Device) extended bolt catch attaches to the standard AR-15 bolt catch with a backplate and screw, making for easy installation with zero permanent gun modifications. The BAD features a thin, low profile to help minimize snagging, yet offers lightning fast reloads by allowing the bolt catch/release to be engaged using the trigger finger within the trigger guard. Machined from 6061 billet aluminum for strength and durability.

NOTE: The BAD is compatible with all standard, mil-spec forged AR-15 upper/lower receivers, as well as HK416, Vltor VIS/MUR, Larue Stealth, and many other billet upper/lower combinations. It is NOT compatible with LR-308, SR-25, AR-10 or other .308 AR-style platforms.

Essential Manipulation
I Have been using the Magpul B.A.D. Lever since its Birth and have become comfortable using it and have them on ALL four of my AR's. Great product get One!!!

Looks funky, works great,
Sometimes ya just want something to work, and the BAD dose just that. There are other extended BCG release solutions available but this one is easy to install and works like a champ.

It works
Always had to re-position the hands to lock open the bolt. This makes it really easy. Mounts tight on the bolt catch, but wiggles a bit because of the play in the bolt catch; not a fault of the lever. Found it easier to mount if you remove the upper first.

Impressive
Was pretty skeptical at first about how easy/functional it would be and for a righty, its pretty convenient to do everything one only one hand and not have to manhandle the weapon to lock the bolt back.

Best investment for my AR
I use this on both my service weapon and my personal weapon. It is by far the best accessory I have ever installed. Very easy to install and easily removed if need be. Strong construction.
